.co domains – will they take off?

.co domains Will .co take off and will it be a new country neutral domain?? Just noticed today that the new service Vine is using a .co domain. So it got me thinking maybe this domain maybe becoming relevant. Many of our customers are often disappointed with the availability of .com addresses. So it could start to become an option. On further investigation we found a news item by GoDaddy promoting .co at the Superbowl. We secured 2cubed.co just in case!

Google Online Marketing Challenge

Google Online Marketing Challenge One of UCD School of Business’s eMarketing classes is running its annual Google Online Marketing Challenge (GOMC) this semester. We arelooking for SMEs who would like to avail of this fantastic opportunity of having highly motivated Business students (many of them come from prestigious Universities in the United States currently spending one semester at UCD) designing and implementing an online marketing campaign utilizing Google AdWords. With a free US$250 budget provided by Google, students develop and run an online advertising campaign for a business or non-profit organization over a three-week period. I anticipate running the campaign this March and would be delighted helping local businesses through this project. Please contact the eMarketing module coordinator Matt Glowatz (matt.glowatz@ucd.ie) if you are interested in participating or have any further questions. Luminate Conference This event was specifically aimed at owners of young businesses who would not normally attend business conferences, and this event had a different look and feel to a standard conference event. The overall theme is one of optimism through challenging times, and the delegates are encouraged to take an active part in the event.
